My name is Jimmy. I am Y.O.P.D. I am currently 51 years old and diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2013 Today I still struggle with PD in every aspect known with this battle towards symptoms involved with Parkinson's. Being i justhad DBS surgery 6 months ago my symptoms are much easier to manage today under DBS control. Today i still try and keep a positive attitude, and keepmovingby hiki,g,,,paddle, boarding, walking just keep moving, beivolved and makingawarnes about this disease through web-radio for people with Parkinson Disease. My advice to someone who has been effected by this disease, and or new too being diagnosed,is too remeber you are your best advocate, communications is vital to your Doctors and those who care for you, it is a progressive disease,it will not killyou. We will simply die with this disease.its about what you do with your PARKINSON'S thats counts; We are all on the same playing field here. I am very greatful wakingg up every day too my wife, she has been the true rock in our battles with Parkinson's and more. My very best too all. Remember your Never Alone...
